The role of the Police Department and its officers has changed dramatically over the past few years. We have expanded our roles and have developed new programs aimed at preventing crime, disorder and delinquency.

The men and women of the Watertown Police Department serve with great pride. They have pride in themselves, their organization, and in the community they serve. The Police Department is no longer a separate entity within the community; it is part of the community and works closely with the people of Watertown to resolve common problems and to reach common goals.
