The Snow Emergency has been lifted as of Thursday 01/27/2011 at 5:00 PM
01/27/2011 0300 hours, due to the in effect declared Snow Emergency, the DPW has authorized and begun towing any motor vehicle impedding the snow removal on public ways.
The Town of Watertown has declared a Snow Emergency effective at 9:00 PM on January 26, 2011. Citizens are advised to keep their vehicles off the roadway to allow the DPW to clear the streets
The Watertown Police and Department of Public Works along with Watertown Citizens for Environmental Safety co-sponsored a styrofoam recycling and food drive on January 2, 2011 to benefit St Vincent de Paulâ€™s Food Pantry.
On street parking is banned. Residents are urged to use designated off street parking. Travel conditions can be extremely poor and residents are advised to remain in doors.
