Officer Harold ‘Tony’ Physic Receives a First Responder Award

On Thursday, June 8, 2017, Patrol Officer Harold ‘Tony’ Physic was awarded the First Responder Recognition Award at the MPTC CPR/FR Recognition Awards Ceremony held at Bentley University.

Ofc. Physic received this award for saving a human life: On 1/19/17, a patron had collapsed and became unresponsive while working out at local sports club. Upon his arrival, Ofc. Physic determined that the patron was in full cardiac arrest and immediately began chest compressions, while an AED was being retrieved by staff members. Ofc. Physic continued CPR until a was relieved by the WFD and paramedics. Because of his quick actions, this patron is alive today!

Please help us congratulate Ofc. Physic for receiving such a prestigious award! We here at the WPD are extremely proud of him.
