On Wednesday June 7th, 2017, an end of the year gathering was held at the police station for the Town’s school crossing guards. The event was well attended and provided a great opportunity to enjoy some refreshments and convey important updates.
After six years of service, Crossing Guard Francis Murphy retired from his position. During the gathering, Chief Lawn presented a recognition plaque to Mr. Murphy for his dedication to the students and families of Watertown. The Watertown Police Department would like to thank all of the crossing guards for their hard work and commitment.
