Snow Emergency Announcement – February 14, 2015
The Watertown Public Works and Police Departments would like to remind all Watertown residents that the snow emergency / parking ban remains in effect until further notice. On street parking is banned and any motor vehicle left on the street will be subject to towing.
Watertown is expecting between 8 to 14 inches of snow and high winds from Saturday night until Monday morning.
Please remember that the throwing of snow or plowing snow on the street or public sidewalk is also an ordinance violation and subject to a fine.
It is requested that every resident assist in clearing off fire hydrants and catch basins in your area and the clearing of the sidewalk in front of your property will benefit all pedestrians. Please also remember to check on the elderly population in your neighborhood.
